This is us in a nutshell: photographers, friends, mamas, and iced latte drinkers.
We are passionate about documenting legacies & serving our couples on one of the greatest days of their lives.
My name is Cassandra but my friends call me Sandra!
I was born and raised in Iowa, and plan to call this my home forever. I moved to Florida for college but ended up moving back rather quickly, and soon after I found my (now) husband Cyle! Family is very important to both of us and we can't imagine living somewhere without them!
I use way too many exclamation points and say dude way too often. I am always down for a good adventure and am very spontaneous in nature (both a blessing and a curse) and travel is most definitely high on my to-do list for the near future.
I am a mom + wedding photographer, studio owner, Jesus lover, coffee addict, mini-van enthusiast, & spontaneous dancer (if you see me at a wedding, you'll most definitely be seeing that!) I talk with my hands ALWAYS, and get louder the more excited I am (which happens a lot!).
I love dinner dates with friends, car jams with the music way too loud, anything sweet, being barefoot at all times, the color white, and the one week in the spring when all the trees are budding. I am a wife to my husband; Cyle, and a mama to four beautiful (albeit devilish) little girls.

I started Fieldstone in College and taught myself everything I needed to know!
My kiddos range from eight years old down to four years old and they are all girls! I homeschool all four of them and am not sure how I survive but so far so good.
When my husband and I met, neither of us wanted to date each other. But after being friends for six months we just couldn't stay apart. Here we are over a decade later and I've got the best life with my best friend!
I am obsessed with dogs and have never met a pupper that I did not absolutely adore. I've got a senior yorkie at home who has been with me since college and two spunky mini goldendoodles.

In 2021 Cyle and I traveled to the Oregon coast for a wedding that I was photographing. It was easily my favorite vacation that we have ever taken and the views were beathtaking!

Our Philosophy
We're sure your mind is racing with all that needs to be planned. It’s all very exciting but it can also be somewhat overwhelming. You’re planning the day that you’ve been anticipating your whole life and yet you only get one shot at it! By the time you get the hang of it, the planning is over! Our goal as your wedding photographer is to make this one aspect of the planning process simple. Photography is more than just images, it’s a real part of your day. Not only do you deserve beautiful images, you also deserve an amazing photographic experience. When our couples feel comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera, that results in genuine, joyful images! When you think back to your wedding day, you will remember amazing memories.... but most of the moments you will remember really well are the instances that will be captured in your pictures. They are priceless. Your wedding day is an experience from beginning to end and your photography is a huge part of that experience..... shouldn’t it be fun? and enjoyable? and natural? We think so! Our goal is to not only capture memories for our couples, it’s to create an experience that they will never forget.
The Process
One way we ensure that our brides and grooms enjoy the BEST photographic experience possible is through forming a relationship with our couples. We try our best to make sure that all of our couples are the PERFECT fit for us before officially booking. A bride and groom should connect with their photographer, trust their photographer and be EXCITED about the whole process with them! After booking, we love getting to know my clients through an ENGAGEMENT SESSION that helps them warm up to the camera so that they are ready to rock and roll on their wedding day! By the time the wedding day arrives, our clients feel more like friends and that creates a safe and relaxed environment for photography! Our
Shooting Style:
We are more than willing to travel for engagement sessions! We actually love it when our couples ask us to photograph them in a location that means something special to them! We book engagement sessions at least one month in advance and up to one hour of travel is included.
We average 75-100 images per hour that we’re shooting. We love delivering our client’s files quickly and easily via an online gallery. You will have the ability to print, share, and download your images as much as you want. We believe in freely sharing our work because that is what we would want if we were in your shoes!
You may notice that we don't have different tiered packages with differing hours of coverage like most photographers that you'll find. This is because we have been photographing weddings for ten years and have found to shoot a typical wedding in less than eight hours is very stressful on everyone involved and just does not allow enough time to capture all that we need to. You can of course choose to add on more than eight hours of time if you need to! Timeline creation is included in all of our wedding packages so you will know the exact timing closer to your wedding! Once we create your timeline you can add on time to your package then.
We love being both interactive and discreet throughout the wedding day. There will be parts of the wedding day when I will need to be in control in order to accomplish everything that needs to be done while staying on schedule. There will also be moments when you shouldn’t even know that I’m there. (The ceremony, during dances and toasts,etc.) We teach our couples how to pose, model and interact during their engagement session so they are naturals on the wedding day and don’t need quite as much instruction from us!
Once I have answered any questions you may have and you have decided that our Wedding Experience is exactly what you’re looking for on your wedding day, the next step is a booking proposal. I will create an online proposal that will walk you through the package and when you’re ready you can save your date by signing your contract and paying your deposit online. A signed contract and a $1500 deposit is required to reserve your date.

I offer high end, leather bound Heirloom Albums for my wedding clients. The images are printed straight onto the pages and the covers are wrapped with top grain leather or linen. This is the perfect ending to The Wedding Experience and it’s a keepsake that you will be showing your children and grandchildren one day!
